Enterprise Electrification Roadmap

Ideo Auto Mobility developed a multi-phase electrification strategy for a large-scale enterprise aiming to decarbonize its transportation footprint. We provided end-to-end EV guidance, from vehicle selection and procurement to the design of scalable charging infrastructure, ensuring the client’s transition was both commercially viable and operationally seamless.

The client faced high barriers to entry, including range anxiety, high upfront infrastructure costs, and a lack of technical expertise regarding electric vehicle management. They required a data-informed plan to replace their internal combustion engine (ICE) fleet without disrupting their complex delivery schedules or exceeding long-term budget projections.

We delivered a forward-looking mobility innovation strategy that prioritized long-term sustainability and practical vehicle solutions. By conducting a deep-dive analysis of current routes and energy requirements, we built a roadmap that balanced the transition over three years to mitigate financial risk and technical friction.

The strategy included:

• EV Infrastructure Planning: Design and deployment of on-site rapid charging stations integrated with local grid capacity.
• Sustainable Vehicle Sourcing: Identification of the optimal EV models based on load capacity, range requirements, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Driver Training & Adoption: Educational resources and advisory support to help personnel adapt to new vehicle technologies and charging protocols.
• Operational Optimization: Implementation of smart charging software to manage energy loads during off-peak hours, reducing utility costs.
